What's your favorite memory from your internship?

My favorite memory had to be going and touring the Morton, IL Parts Distribution Center. It was really interesting to see the millions of machine parts that Caterpillar handles and accounts for. The facility had also recently been updated so most operations were automated and very efficient.

What value did you gain during your internship?

I gained an in-depth view into the private side of the accounting industry. To be able to directly see my work contribute to the many products that Caterpillar produces was a very unique experience. I was also able to travel to many different facilities and learn how different segments of the business work.

How did BAP help you throughout your experience?

BAP helped me prepare for corporate world and made me confident to step into a new role as an intern. Navigating a new job was difficult at times, but the experience through BAP has made me challenge myself and push myself in professional settings. Learning how to network and interact with like-minded peers is another skills that BAP has helped me with.
